Dr. John Rodriguez

As Chief Medical Officer of Healthcare2U, Dr. Rodriguez is passionate about the care that is provided to our patients. He is responsible for Healthcare2U’s care protocols and training and managing all the care providers in our network of clinics.

John D. Rodriguez, M.D. has over 20 years of experience as a Board Certified Internist. Most of those ten years were spent in private practice in the Dallas area working as an attending physician with one of the most prestigious health care systems in the country, Baylor Health Care Systems. During his tenure with the Baylor System, Dr. Rodriguez was the first internist with the Health Texas Group to start what is now the largest Internal Medicine Group in the Grapevine, Southlake, Colleyville area serving Baylor Hospital in Grapevine, Texas.

Dr. Rodriguez served on the Baylor Hospital bylaws committee as well as the laboratory advisory committee of Health Texas, which is nearly a 400 member Physician group that includes internal medicine, family practice, and pediatric physicians.

Dr. Rodriguez is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He completed his training in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He attended Texas A & M University and majored in Biochemistry.

Dr. Rodriguez has been active in medical missionary work in Mexico and Central America through Helping Hand Medical Missions based in Irving, Texas.
